Saw Mill in Manipur, Pallel Destroyed: Six Kuki Arrested for Suspected Arms Possession.

Search operation by Manipur Police in Pallel

Around 2:55a.m, a Saw Mill owned by Mutum Rabicvhandra Singh was burned down in Pallel Bamon Leikai. As a result, a search operation was conducted in the surrounding areas by a combined team of CDO unit KCG district, Pallel PS, Tengnoupal PS, BS, and 21 AR Pallel. During the operation, various items were recovered from M. Tuinom Village, Pallel.

A group of Six individuals including from the Tengnoupal village, were formally seized. The item included DBBL Gun, Barrel  gun cartridges, B.P jacked, Patka helmets, Baofeng hand-held sets, mobile phones, Nokia keypads, combat knee guard, and a cash received book.

The group also had a Bajaj Avenger bike in Maroon color, an Activa 4G scooter in silver color, a kenbo bike in black color, and a cash received book from the M. Tuino Youth Club in Pall, District-Tengnoupal. The group was led by Shaminial Haokip, Letkholal Doungel, M. Tongkhohou Haokip, M. Lunpao Haokip, Manggoulen Haokip, Seimenthang Mate, and Manchong Jangminlal Zou. 

The items were seized from the spot and were used to train and train the members of the group. The group's activities were aimed at promoting self-help and empowering the community.
